Many Australian consumers are wasting money as they continue to be mis-informed when it comes to the cost of heating their home. According to a recent Australian survey* by Fujitsu General, 42 per cent of respondents believe gas to be the most cost effective form of heating.
“Gas heating is a less effective, old fashioned and outdated means of heating the home. A Fujitsu reverse cycle air conditioner with inverter technology can be cheaper to run than gas. They can be up to 50 per cent more efficient and economical,” explains Milton Kaloudis, national marketing manager, Fujitsu General.
Almost 20 per cent of the 1000 Australians surveyed by Fujitsu are still using old fashioned and unconventional ways of staying warm in winter. Wrapping up in warmer clothes and blankets, closing up the house to keep the draft out and even using the heat from a computer are some of the more unusual methods people have tried in an effort to stay warm.
According to Kaloudis, energy efficiency is the most sought after feature in an air conditioner. “Fujitsu General reverse cycle air conditioners with inverter technology offer industry leading COP (coefficient of performance) levels, making them a more cost effective form of heating the home than other air conditioners. Using the latest technologies Fujitsu air conditioners heat a home faster and more efficiently, lowering heating costs and keeping more money in consumer’s pockets.”
In the recently announced Canstar Blue ‘Most Satisfied Customers Award’, Fujitsu General reaffirmed its position as Australia’s number one choice for air conditioning systems. It was the only air conditioning supplier in Australia to receive five stars across all eight categories of the survey: overall satisfaction, value for money, after sales service, reliability, ease of use, functionality, noise and energy efficiency.
This winter, the Fujitsu Free Money promotion is offering cost conscious consumers a pre paid Visa card worth up to $400 when they purchase of an inverter air conditioning system.
Fujitsu General has an extensive range of inverter reverse cycle products suitable for any environment. These are perfect for energy efficient, cost effective heating over the colder winter months and for more effective cooling during the warmer summer months.
