Fuji Xerox Phaser 7800 wins two Australian Business Awards

Fuji Xerox Printers has received two accolades at the Australian Business Awards 2012, with the newly released Phaser 7800 colour laser printer picking up the awards for Best New Product and Product Excellence.

Established in 2005, the Australian Business Awards is a prestigious and comprehensive awards program which engages with leading organisations across key industry segments.  Entries are assessed using specific criteria across a number of business and product award categories.

The Phaser 7800 colour laser printer is Fuji Xerox’s flagship product and is targeted at creative professionals and business users who seek to produce commercial quality materials in-house.  As the only A3 printer in its class to deliver the full complement of capabilities that today’s graphic intensive organisations demand, the Phaser 7800 sets new benchmarks in colour print quality, colour range and accuracy, media handling, ease of use, speed and reliability.

The Australian Business Awards’ Best New Product and Product Excellence Awards recognise the Phaser 7800 for demonstrating overall product superiority and offering a point of difference from its competitors. According to David Borg, general manager of Fuji Xerox Printers Australia & New Zealand, the awards reflect Fuji Xerox’s commitment to product innovation and quality.

“Fuji Xerox printers are renowned for their high level of quality, performance, reliability and durability.  As a company, we continue to invest in product research and development to ensure we deliver solutions which enable our partners to leverage the latest market trends and support their customers. These awards are a mark of excellence and stand as testament to this commitment.”

“The Phaser 7800 is our most advanced colour printer to date. It gives business users the ability to easily and affordably create professional quality custom brochures, sales proposals, posters and banners, while creative professionals can push design boundaries with heavyweight paper for books, calendars and non-traditional sizes for postcards, business cards and photos. For our channel partners, this printer presents a fantastic opportunity to grow their market share in the high end graphic arts colour segment,” he said.

Commenting on the Fuji Xerox win Ms Tara Johnston, Program Director with The Australian Business Awards said, “These types of accolades don’t come easily – they are underpinned by vision and leadership, both of which require a clear dedication to research and development.

“There was unparalleled breadth and depth in this year’s entries, highlighting the economic stability of Australia and stamping it as the ‘clever country’ for progressive projects, investment, enterprise ventures and workplace practices. Across the private, public and not-for-profit sectors, the 2012 winners of The Australian Business Awards are innovative, agile and truly ‘best in class.”

The Phaser 7800 is available through authorised channel partners and resellers – from AU$7999 + GST.
