One in six Australians experience hearing loss, a figure expected to rise to one in four by 2050.1 This growing need for high-quality, accessible audio systems is addressed by Williams AV with two new innovations: the SoundPlus® T3 Infrared Transmitter, available from March 2025, and the Auracast solution, launching locally after its debut at Integrated Systems Europe (ISE) 2025.

The SoundPlus® T3 Infrared Transmitter, which will replace the SoundPlus® T2, delivers audio coverage of up to 32,000 square feet (2,972 square metres) using advanced light-emitting diode (LED) technology. The T3 is compact and discreet, integrating seamlessly into cinemas, classrooms, courtrooms, and conference rooms, providing reliable audio without interference.

The SoundPlus® T3, designed for convenience, supports dual audio streams and remote management via Telnet and RS-232 commands. Optional power-over-Ethernet (PoE) simplifies installations, while the system includes essential accessories like a wall/ceiling mounting bracket and an international power supply. It offers AV professionals a powerful and cost-effective solution, while its coverage capabilities and flexible installation options make it ideal for large and small spaces.
